I am a legion athletics affiliate!
What does that mean?
It means that I help spread the word of the Legion Athletics to my friends and followers. Use my link HERE to check it out.
What is Legion Athletics?
Legion Athletics is a supplement company based in the US, made in the US, made with natural sweeteners & flavors, and backed by scientific research (aka no bullshit—they don’t hide any ingredients & will tell you exactly how much is in what you’re buying).
Do I need supplements?
I'm not here to tell you that you need supplements or protein, because you don't. It's a matter of wanting it. Just like how I want to work out because I want to look better and feel better. I don't need to do this—I want to. The difference is important.
That’s all great and dandy Kelly, but I’m not trying to become a bodybuilder.
Supplements and protein are not strictly for bodybuilding. I'm not trying to become a bodybuilder—not even close! But I take pre-workout before the gym and protein powder when I need more protein. Pre-workout wakes me up and gets me excited for the gym session ahead with an extra boost of energy and clear focus. (I used to hate working out. Now it's my favorite part of the day.)
The main reason why protein powder is important is because it's extra protein without the hassle and empty calories that food brings with it. Legion Whey+ gives you clean protein and that's it.
Let's say you've got a busy day ahead of you but you're short 40 grams of protein and you don't have time to scarf down 2 chicken breasts, this is when protein powder comes in handy.
Protein is an extremely important part of anyone's diet. It helps build and repair tissues, make enzymes, hormones, and other essential chemicals in the body. Protein is made up of amino-acids. Out of the 20-22 amino acids, there are 8-10 essential amino-acids you can only get through your diet. See where I'm going with this? Protein = healthy & happy body.
